This is the last day of the Triduum. Our first Mass of Easter will begin at 8:15 pm (NO 4:00 PM). We will light the Easter Fire outside. We process to the church, led only by the light of the newly blessed Paschal Candle. At the entry to the Nave (worship space), Fr. Michael will light his candle from the Paschal Candle and then through those in procession and those in the church. The first part of our Liturgy, includes the singing of the Exultet and the Scripture readings (Old Testament), which take us through salvation history, all take place in candlelight. With the return of the GLORIA, we are embraced into light and rejoicing-Christ is Risen. We will have the celebration of the Easter Sacraments (Baptism, First Eucharist & Confirmation), with our Catechumen and Candidates through OCIA.
